Stallions tame Tillsonburg FC in premier opener; masters play to victory

Payton Krienslokker scored twice and Connor Dalton had the shutout as the Woodstock Stallions blanked Tillsonburg FC in the Western Ontario Soccer League Premier Division opener Friday night in Tillsonburg.

TFC returns home Friday, when they try to get its first win of the season against St. Thomas at 8:30pm.


In Masters Division action, Shayne Tremblay paced the way with two goals, leading TFC to a 5-2 home victory over LAFC.

Jason Lingard, Jason Almeida, and Elemer Sopronyi all added one goal each in the win.

Brayan Aguilar scored twice for LAFC.

The TFC masters also return to action Friday, but on the road for a 8:15pm game against Exeter FC.


In WOSL Third Division action on Monday, TFC C hosts London Scottish at 8:30pm.

Thursday in Delhi, the Norfolk Athletics kick off its WOSL Fourth Division season against London Serbs at 8pm/

Friday in Delhi, the Norfolk Royals begin WOSL Third Division play at home against the German Canadians FC at 8pm.
