The Langton Royals Jr Hockey Club have found a gem in the form of Trevor Slavin.
The 18-year-old from Mississauga has seen his fair share of rubber and has been kicking them out. After posting a 3-0 record, 3.00 goals against average, and .938 save percentage, Slavin was named the Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League Goalie of the Month for December.
Two of his biggest games of the month were a 56-save effort in a 4-3 win over the Wexford Raiders, and a 41-stop effort in a 5-3 victory over the Seaforth Generals.
Slavin continued to shine Sunday, when the Royals returned from the Christmas break. He stopped 33 shots in a 4-2 win over the Seaforth Generals.
