Andrew Randazzo has paid his dues and is now set to be a head coach in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.
After two seasons learning the coaching ropes under Wes Consorti, Randazzo, from Hamilton, will take over as the Bandits new bench boss when the 2020-21 season is set to begin.
Consorti leaves the Bandits and becomes an assistant coach under Dan Fitzgerald, for the Brantford 99ers Ontario Junior Hockey League team.
Prior to Randazzo’s start as a coach with Brantford’s junior B hockey club, he played 197 games in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for the Drummondville Voltigeurs, 144 in the Southern Professional Hockey League for the Mississippi River Kings, and 74 in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey for the Riviere-du-Loup 3L.
Last season the Bandits were in tough, posting a 6-39-0-5 record.
