Game 7 wasn’t heaven for the Paris Mounties Jr Hockey on Saturday.Max Racicot’s short-handed goal late in the third period proved to be the game-winner, as the Woodstock Navy Vets beat the Mounties 3-2 at home.Brendan Bauer gave the Mounties a great start in the opening minute of the game, before Nick Billeci and Racicot gave the Navy Vets the lead.Brad Oldroyd tied things up for the Mounties in the second period, setting up Racicot’s heroics.The Navy Vets win the best-of-seven PJHL Doherty Division quarter-final 4-3. They now face the top-seeded Tavistock Braves, while the Ayr Centennials and Wellesley Applejacks meet in the semifinals.
