Hundreds of local hoopsters are taking aim at moving on in the annual Knights of Columbus Free Throw competitions. The winners of these area competitions advance to the district championship on February 8, at Langton’s Sacred Heart School (Langton).
On Wednesday, the Delhi Knights of Columbus hosted its area competition at St. Frances Cabrini School, where home court was truly an advantage.
The winners were:
Girls age 9: Dylan Haskins, St. Frances School
Boys age 9: Brady Menich, Teeterville Public School
Girls age 10: Lily Girard, St. Frances School
Boys age 10: Reise Revai, St. Frances School
Girls age 11: Victoria Price, Teeterville Public School
Boys age 11: Mason Demeulemeester, St. Frances
Girls age 12: Karyle Kiwas, St. Frances School
Boys age 12: Lukas Ellwood, St. Frances School
Girls age 13: Emma House, St. Frances School
Boys age 13: Mateo Mungal, Teeterville Public School
Boys age 14: Lukas Wheeler, St. Frances School
On Sunday, Holy Trinity Catholic High School and the Simcoe Knights of Columbus played host to its area’s competition.
