After a tough start to the Red Bull Ice Cross season, Paris’ Jacqueline Legere is back where she belongs.
And that’s at the top of the podium.
The Brant County ice cross racer outlasted American Amanda Trunzo and Anais Morand, from Switzerland to win the second Red Bull IceCross (formerly known as Crashed Ice) tour stop in Praloup, France Saturday.
The victory, Legere’s 11th, puts her in third place in the world rankings.
The Red Bull IceCross tour began on December 28 in Judenburg, Austria, where Legere was edged out in the semifinal heat and finished fifth.
The next tour stop is Saturday in Mont Du Lac, WI.
