Owen Haiek scored the overtime winner Sunday, to give the Seaforth Generals a 3-2 victory over the Langton Royals Jr Hockey Club in Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League action.
Dylan Ross-Kendi opened the scoring for the Generals 11 minutes into the first period, before Carson Favel tied things up three minutes later.
The Generals grabbed the lead again late in the first period thanks to Cedric Beck.
Down, but not out, Malcolm Gamelin tied things up for the Royals with 17 seconds left in regulation.
The Royals, who are now 16-5-0-2-2, sit in fourth place in the CPJHL standings. They are chasing the Generals and Miniwaki Mustangs for second place. Those two teams are four points up on the Royals.
Sunday, the Royals host the Scarborough Wexford Raiders at 2pm.
