Kyle Karoleski did everything he possibly could to hold off the Caledonia Corvairs
in Game 2 of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League Golden Horseshoe Conference quarter-final.
The Buffalo Regals goalie stopped 50 shots in a 4-0 Corvairs victory to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Danyk Druin was the only one to crack through Karoleski after 40 minutes, with his goal coming in the first period.
But in the third frame, the Corvairs offence kept coming and wore the Regals out. Ryan Wells, Noah Caperchione, and Nick Giunta scored goals.
Down at the other end of the rink, Aiden Hughes made 12 saves for the shutout.
The series returns to Caledonia for Game 3 on Saturday at 7:30pm, with Game 4 Monday at 7pm in Buffalo.
